Rest bag filler Matl?

Gonna go with this simple answer. Prolly need to do the same regardless of fill matter amiright?
I looked at that aquarium gravel at Walmart . I don't have a bag but some of it looked pretty nice sized and weight

But ya. That bag liner would help stop dust or something leaking out as well ?

Can't hurt to try and see if you like using it or not . No big loss either way.

I have a couple bags filled with popcorn. It works fine. Ive used them for years. I'm in the high desert and humidity isn't a huge issue. But I've shot in the rain and set them on a wet table many times.

Nothing has sprouted. At least I don't think it has. It's been years. Now I'm afraid to see what's in there....

I shoot all my fabric gear with urethane fabric treatment. Like scotch guard. The bags are pretty much waterproof.

Ive got a bag with plastic rock tumbling media. About 4-5mm poly beads. That might work. Or a bag of plastic blast media. Same but smaller.

I bought a bag of corn cob horse bedding at Tractor Supply. Did not use all 40 lbs. I'm in kitsap county area in Washington. If your close, I have plenty to go around.
Ya but thats a synthetic I posted for filling the tossing bags for the corn hole game .. lol

RossK beat me to it :)
Yep, rice. Not the instant kind but the stuff you gotta cook. I've had 3 bags with rice in them for close to 10 years and they are still going strong.
They have been everywhere, in the house, the barn, the garage and they still feel like they did the day I made them years ago.

Thx
Ray

Another budget priced solution - find a resale shop that has plush toys. One near me sells small ones for about 50 cents a piece. Many are filled with poly pellets like this that make great bag filler.

I'm going to try the fill from a bean bag chair. If I don't like it I'll get another bag and keep one inside and one outside. I'm currently using kitty litter to fill my bag
the polystyrene used to fill bean bag chairs will compact on you
not a good fill material..you want a solid plastic material if you want a lighter weight
i've used kitty litter ..works fine
