Foggy, Cold, Sunny and an opportunity to shoot along side the newly crowned Veteran Springer World Champion, Son Liu in Concord.
Pistols, Rifles and smiles everywhere.
Son brought out his newly won uber PCP, remarking how much smoother this rifle shot over his diesel air pumper!
Scores were fair considering the low visibility. California sun exploded onto the range as we confronted the last few lanes, bringing circulation back to rapidly defrosting toes and fingers

Martin, thank you for another enjoyable match and for setting extra targets to promote 12 fpe pistol competition. It was a stroke of genius and a lot of fun! I hope it establishes a pistol group in Concord who'd like to continue this! And your video production skills are getting more and more awesome, thanks! BTW, night owls who plan to attend the NYE match, make sure your lighted reticle scopes have batteries!

Jim ... show up at the night shoot new years eve ... I'll bring you some H.D. real duct tape in Bright Red !!! With so much tape wrapping looking as if your rifle is a war casualty, some Blood Red tape does seem appropriate

as long as the tape doesn't get in the way of him "hot swapping" his scope(s) during the match! Why focus your parallax when you can just mount a new scope at the correct focal distance?

I just wonder when Jim will figure out a harmonic barrel tuning method with the duct tape. He can experiment with placement and number of wraps. Perhaps rob a couple lead wheel weights off the Prius to help the dampening effect!
