Resources Reticle Choices for field target

Darkness not being a factor in field target is Quite odd to me, as the darker the target faceplate is and the darker the course setting, the more difficult it is to acquire / range / hold on the the KZ. Meh.
With a rule that goes Coast to Coast, the "Subjective" rating of if or not target is dark or light is rather loose as ones dark is anthers non issue etc ....
The Windy rating being another ... as one areas normal ( say around here) is an issue with shooters typically in the woods etc ... BOTH are very regional to any base of Normal as this normal is what folks are accustomed to shooting and conditions outside of that is where adjusting troyer was allowed previous. It is being seen as too easy in gaining score advantage in GP points by claiming these correction values previously being allowed.

Just my take on it as one who shoots FT & a MD as well.

I couldn't find the main reticle thickness of that Titan APR2D reticle but I'm guessing it's .03-04 mil thick?? That makes it harder to see the reticle hashes well in a FFP scope on 16x. But if the illume is bright enough you can take advantage of it.

This is where the new Athlon Midas Tac G2 4-16 and Ares BTR G3 2.5-15 would help in because the mil reticle thickness is .06 mil. How well they range is the question.

Ahhh yet another buy in.... I am finding the bigger the front bell the brighter overall things seem downrange.

have to start a different thread oh this .... my thread "what color are your targets" did or is touching on this "darkness" somewhat.
