Picked this up the other day on ebay. Looked like it needed refinished and planned on a Vortek HO spring kit when it came. To my surprise it was immaculate. The finish was great, and the power was good as new. But with 20 to 30 fps ES with most pellets.

So I put a HO PG4 kit in it. WOW I tried six different pellets and everyone gave single digit ES. 4 of them under 5 fps ES. The 8.4 grain AA Diablo gave me 4.46 ES and shot this group at 25 yards. It will do under a dime most 5 shot groups with this pellet at 25 yards. But this was the first group after about 100 shots through this new spring kit.

I'm very happy to say the least @ 870 fps its hard on pest. and pretty easy to hit pop cans and such out to 50 yards. I think I'll keep it!

Nice, i'm a huge fan of the 34s. So easy to work on and never seem to be to pellet picky. Good shooting.

I found this one to be very pellet picky. But I'M VERY PICKY. I will say the majority of the 7 different pellets I tried would group inside a quarter at 25 yards. but only three would group inside a nickel and only one under a dime at that range. For me that makes only one pellet worth shooting at this time. But I need to try some FTT in it but have 2000 of the AA diablo fields that it shot best coming. That should last me quite some time???

But I considered this one as pellet picky, but never expected it to shoot as good as it is shooting now. The Vortek kit even though its the HO @14+ fpe it is very smooth and quiet now.
