Other Reximex 22 caliber few notes

I wrote this somewhere else but mine leaked at first. Contacted Airgun depot who said to put silicone oil in grove of probe.
That was three weeks ago and not one problem
Yes PA ask me to do that with my second pistol, It was on a friday so I had all weekend to shoot it and every time I did I greased up the probe, Time Monday rolled around the leak was worse ,,

I’ve had my .177 Rex for a few days now. At 1st I was a little concerned as it leaked some air the 1st night but it was in an unheated room. The next night I left it in a heated room in the basement & af 24 hours it was fine. So far I’m really liking it. Was on the barkey side so I 3d printed a moderator for it, helped quit a bit.

I'm wondering if they’ve been sitting so long without air that the o-rings have shrunk a little. I did oil the pellet pusher & put a couple of drops in the fill probe. Silicone oil is what I used.

I oiled the snot out of my last one with high dollar silicone oil and grease, Seemed to make the leak worse, Glad to see your 177 Rex working great,, Its a cool little gun .
Have you got a favorite pellet for it yet?
Carm has some better mags for it..
Mike
i have tried 3 different pellets so far & Crosman Hollow Points were the best. Still need to test more pellets.
i have some Maple Custom Products magazines I’ve been happy with. I heard the guy doing the Carm magazines passed away.

OK, Got my 3ed Reximex Pistol in today, Trust me if PA wasn't so easy to work with I would have thrown in the towel on the 2ed gun, I did ask for a 10 for 10 leak test on this 3ed gun but PA did drop the ball and did not do the leak test,, ()()*%$#$@#$#$%$_) , I cleaned the barrel , Sighted in with my red dot , air the pistol up with a well lubed probe, (silicone) , Its a shooter for sure , Very impressed with this light PCP pistol and very accurate ,, Spent about 4 hours shooting this pistol aired up about 4or 5 times or more, Looks like I got a good one for sure this time , The morning will tell .. Oh it loves the Crosman Premier 14,3 gr 22 domed pellets , Wow another big plus , I got to give PA 10 stars I gave them hell sent the guns back and they sent me new ones with there $$$$ and always were good to work with,, I am sure they lost money with me on the Reximex deal,But they have a customer for life,,,,

So did it hold air overnight? 🤞

Happy to hear that’s this one is holding air.

Take the grip off, there’s a plate covering the trigger mechanism. There’s a couple of springs in there both are adjustable but didn’t seem to do much. Don’t try & adjust them with the plate off, don’t ask how I know. 😁 I oiled all the contact services using silicone oil. Seemed to help smooth it out.

899 try to grease your probe up and air the gun up a few times with a well greased probe, I was told that fixs 90% of the leaks in the Rex, Didn't help my 1st two,, I seem where Rex offers a one year warranty,, Also there is a tuner that I heard was a expert in these Turkey guns,, I think his name is Troy Hammer
Not real sure on that I just heard his name tossed around..
