Managed to get out in the rain and strong winds (enough that i had to go and catch the target a few times as the sellotape wasn't holding) today new gun day and all.

here's the first 60 pellets through the barrel in 5 shot groupings at about 28 meters - sub 12ft/lb

Crosman Premier ultra magnums 14.3gr were first through ( happy these shoot well enough nice and cost effective)
then H &N Field Target Trophy 14.66gr 5.53mm
Finally JSB Exact Jumbo 15.89gr 5.52mm

looking forward to seeing how this non pellet fussy gun develops with use

I thought so as well for a non leaded barrel... not sure with these groupings if it's worth paying an extra £8 per tin of JSB's over Crosman..?

the crosman pellets have quite impressed me with their deformation on hitting targets at 40m due to their light weight i wouldn't have thought they were carrying enough energy.
