N/A Reximex RP port size

I recently aquired a canadain version of the .22 Reximex RP. It is shooting 380fps with 15 grain, too slow! Anyone have experience opening up the ports? Do you know the port i.d. of the US version? Ive ported AGs before, very easy to over do it an spoil the gun. Any advice greatly apreciated.

I know that the Crosman 22xx and 13xx pistols shipped to Canada have a tiny bleeder hole on the rear of their CO2 cylinder, not a reduced port size.

Can you increase the hammer spring setting?

Simple...bore the port in small steps.
If you are opening the barrel port, just don't open past the frame (adjacent) port.

My Canadian pp800 had either reduced valve stem length or increased rear valve body length, or both. Less valve lift. Obviously not the same gun, but another thing to consider.

replaced the hammer spring with much stiffer spring and immidiate improvement increasing spead easily to 500fps. Did not change port sizes. Very pleased as completely reversable.
