Being a little underpowered I decided to see what could be done. I reduced the poppet head down to .350" and opened the ports up to 3/16" valve to barrel. I swapped the hammerspring to a 2.25" OAL .059" wire and added a 250bar bottle. Reduced the hammer weight to 45gr and I can now run the reg at 125 bar with the hammerspring on its lowest setting and get well over 100 shots at 30fpe in 22 or adjust to sling JSB knockouts at over 50fpe (26gr @ 940) with a 150bar reg and hammerspring at max.

More than I would dare to attempt, But super interesting all the same.

May I ask, what was the power range/spread bog standard.

I couldn't begin to say what your version would be like with the FAC laws. The US model Gen 1 is a 20fpe 177 30fpe 22 or 40fpe 25 towards the high side of setting stock. Any caliber will adjust down to say 5-8 fpe.

It will be the FAC version I receive.

"30" at the high end to 30 at the low, with your changes, that is quite an improvement.

A 20 low 45 high would suit my purposes.

Unfortunately airgun Smiths, let alone Throne experts are thin on the ground around these parts.

Hopefully the Gen2's "Pre-Chamber" will squeeze a little more than 30 tops.

25 barrel did just as I though. On lowest hammerspring setting it's sipping air at 880fps with 25.4gr kings with the reg still at 150bar. A full magazine barely moved the gauge. The plenum does allow for some good power though. 33.45gr JSB knockouts are shooting 880fps but at the expense of air. Only 3-4 magazines at that power with the hammerspring setting on 3/4.

I special ordered my Throne Gen II 22 from Krale. Coming from Kral, the build quality of the Throne is night and day. When I was tuning for more power with JSB 18.1 g pellets, I had the stock hammer spring and tp turned all the way up and adjusted the reg to 135 bar and was getting 880 fps but when I dropped the reg to 125 bar after depressurizing, the velocity actually increased to 930 fps. Am I getting valve lock? Is it possible to get 950 fps with the JSB knockouts in this platform?
