I'm done with the magazine design and testing for this rifle and want to rehome this nearly new Reximex Throne 2. I bought it new 1-14-25. I've shot maybe 300 rounds through it. The sale includes the rifle, nice Reximex hardcase, OEM mag and 4 new Big Air 12-shot mags ($100 value - more available if needed).
This rifle shoots good and isn't too pellet picky. It's currently tuned for 18.3gr at ~880fps. Reg is consistent and I got 80+ regulated shots. Initially I did have some challenges getting the valve to seal after degassing to lower the reg setting. I ended up dry firing the rifle while filling it and that seemed to work. Rifle is quiet enough without a moderator and seems to shoot more consistent without one.
There are some finish speckles on and under the cocking lever. Not sure what caused that.
The Big Air mags are way easier to load with pellets and insert into the breech. They feed smoothly without damaging the pellet skirts. They breech load from the right instead of the left as does the oem mag. Oem mag loads upside down and slides all the way through the breech.
