With the Games gearing up, i wonder why theres not a 25m benchrest game in the Olympics. Whats ya'll's thoughts?

"Only 10M rifle and pistol."
^For air rifle. There is a 3-position rifle event and a prone rifle event, both 50m, but using 22 LR.
And trap (US took women's bronze!), and skeet, and doubles trap, but those use those funny un-rifled guns. Oh, and archery, the men's team took silver.
Of the 3 above medal rounds, they showed the poorest coverage (only the final targets) for the 10m rifle, which was damn disappointing. I've seen past broadcasts that gave very good coverage and commentary of the medal round, it's actually very interesting to watch.

Shooting is not politically correct with major media now days.I agree that it is a shame and judging the amount of shooters around the world that would add additional viewers meaning more revenues for the networks We all loose because of their stance .

There may be some anti-gun media bias at work. But I think the much bigger barrier to broader TV coverage is the fact that shooting events are boring to watch for anyone except the uber enthusiasts. And there are relatively few of those.

Have you watched a baseball game lately!!! Maybeif they stuck a big chew in their mouth and grabbed their crouch before they took the first shot it would be more popular????
