Royal Arms Tactical Grip

Since some of us "Kind of" derailed a thread, I figured maybe a seperate thread is needed.
I have done 3 different Guns with this Grip so I'll dig up old pictures and take the grips on 2 other guns off and do a side by side with a totally stock RA grip.

I'll also detail fitting one to the Evanix Sniper. That is a different problem to over come given the angle of the mounting screw/bolt.
I've put that project off long enough!

Today, I took the RA grip off the EB XVI and got pictures. This was a really straight forword modification with just a bit of grinding to fit.
The bolt that comes with the grip worked perfectly as the EB XVI has a true AR style mount.
I'd doubt there's many of the EB XVI's in the Colonies as they were never mass imported but other versions of the Logans were.

This is a brand new RA grip next to the modified one on the XVI.

Only some rounding near the top and a bit of a notch was needed. I use a ball end 5/32" Allen for the bolt.

Let's look at the FX Dreamline Lite.

Now the FX grip next to the stock RA grip.

You'll need a bolt to fit the FX as the bolt with the RA Grip won't work. Metric compared to Us that hate metric.
A little grinding but really not that much! Notice the rounded area. That's for the DreamLine Lite safety to work.
I've changed to the Classic style safety lever as It's much easier to use but that's personal choice.
The parts I used for that crude adjustable part you see were spare parts around the shop. Not pretty but free and works for me.

The next RA grip will be from 2018 when I fitted it to a Teryx Stock.
I no longer have that and will have to get the images downloaded from GTA.
That one is MUCH more involved and used a heated butter knife and a few other tools to do.
If I'd have had a milling machine? The knife would not have been needed.
And since SHMBO still don't know about that? Let's not tell her!

i just looked at this section and i have one of these grips and i must say one of the nicest feeling grips in the hand but they are heavy
mine found a home on a Chaser
