Probably the easiest PCP to work on and service. Are they pretty easy to reseal?
Use a USA dealer, that's my personal thought.Should I order through a dealer, or just direct from RTI Arms?
ThanksUse a USA dealer, that's my personal thought.
The RTIarmshop isn't RTI, same outfit has edgunshop, hubenshop etc.
It's not that they are bad to deal with. Just many think the are dealing with the manufacturer. Not so.
Marketing? !
I don't have the P3, my P2 with the same barrel shoots the jsb 18.1 excellent. How do they shoot the JSB .22cal 18.1 grain pellet?
...as does the first one, the PRIEST...I don't have the P3, my P2 with the same barrel shoots the jsb 18.1 excellent.
Good luck.
Excellent? Can you turn her down to around the 800fps or 250m/s range with those 18.13gr pellets? I thought that I had read the earlier versions of the Prophet was hard to turn down for lighter ammo.I don't have the P3, my P2 with the same barrel shoots the jsb 18.1 excellent.

Yes, you're exactly right, it's much more, than just what I've listed! The shroud is more than that, the treaded breech end of the shroud is 15mm, a solid attachment, the shroud actually becomes part of the breech block. Stability.
The barrel breech fitting plus the crown centralising ring on the barrel add further stability. Very tight tolerances.
The shroud is a integral part of any RTI.
A simple but effective design.
Not a problem, I often turn the power down, especially when shooting in my yard. 830fps working good for me with the 18.13 jsb.Excellent? Ditto,P3 is the ultimate upgrade from the previous models wich were already sweet! smoother cocking, “no tools required” hammer spring adjustment!
Etc… barrels have always been top notch!
I’m waiting for the Mora!… if it is to rich for my blood then the P3 is a nice succesor!
Ai!!…. No comment? That is dangerous!!Ditto,
My next RTI is the Mora, .
I have already given the wife my intentions, no negative comments so far .
Yes they are but never needed. I usually change every "easy" orings every 6-8 months. I'm talking about reg, barrel, probe, bleed orings. Less than 15min work. Are they pretty easy to reseal?
I recently changed the O rings … but the old once were from 2019…Yes they are but never needed. I usually change every "easy" orings every 6-8 months. I'm talking about reg, barrel, probe, bleed orings. Less than 15min work.
