Nice shooting,. What's the REG pressure to get those flying at that speed.A little delayed but time to post up some targets. I wasn't having a good day at 100 yards due to weird winds and my neck hurting, but the Mora was tight at 50 yards. Altaros .25 66gr @ ~880fps - target is 2"x2" and the central color ring is 3/8" - between 5-8 shots per target (wasn't really paying attention, just having fun).

The AEA 357 big bore magazine is capable of handling 150gr projectiles at speeds of 940 to 950 fps with commendable accuracy, and it can also shoot 82gr slugs at a velocity of 1056 fps. While it may not achieve the pinpoint accuracy of PCPs, it is equally effective for hunting purposes and has more knock down power. 340fpe with 214grI have yet to see a factory rifle in .357 that has as large of a magazine not to mention a magazine with that wide of a diameter for slugs that can shoot a 115 grain slug at 930 FPS so accurately and lighter ammo above 1000 FPS. I think the Mora is probably the best in class for a out of the box slug rifle. I like the unique barrel where the moderator is hidden.
When measuring the magazine depth, it reads 19.27. It nearly accommodates the 172gr, 18.03 but there is a slight hang-up.I think max length for a slug in the challenger is 12mm? Not sure just what I read in the past.

Have the sniper .25 mora on order. Hopefully it will be a tack driver! Have a .30 cal mk2 impact with m3 upgrades huma hi pressure reg and 800mm tensioned barrel getting 115 ft/lb. Its a proven slayer as long as i dont hit or move the barrel. Cant wait to see if the mora in smaller cal can get the ame ft/lb as my fx...of course accuracy and consistency will be more importantHave to say, after owning for a couple months, shooting over 2000 slugs, the Mora .22 600mm continues to amaze. The quiet, ease and lack of drama slinging 40 grain Altaros at 75fpe. More sedate than my M3 shooting little Hades pellets. No slow first shots, no reg creep and a benchmark AG for accuracy in my collection of ~20.
That's pretty good. I'd get one if they would shoot targets more accurately as that's what I primarily shoot, 200 to 400yds even better if it can shoot further distances accurately. When measuring the magazine depth, it reads 19.27. It's a very nice gun but it's expensive. What's the gun that you use that is lower priced but has just as much or better fpe?FOR $ 2,200 to 2500 35. cal making 300 fpe that $ 8.33 per fpe. not worth it for my needs. I have a 357 that's stock with more fpe. $ 1.79 per fpe. To each their own, i guess.
