RTI Prophet bag rider specs?

Anybody have the specs we need on making a RTI bag rider? Specifically the screw sizes, and if you have other details on something you have tried that worked, I’ll take all the advice I can get.

I just think the factory bag rider at $60 for that little tube seems awfully excessive.

That could work! What size screw is it?

Pretty sure it is 1/4-20 flathead hex drive. I gorilla glued a short piece of pvc pipe into the cf tube, to give me a shoulder to catch a flat washer and nut. I’ll check my hardware to be sure. I’ve been using it for years now, so it is solid. Where in NC are you? I’m near Hickory.

Score. I can grab one of those at Ace. I’ll see what I can figure out. That is a good start.

Still need to confirm the screw size will fit, but I’m thinking something like one of these camera extension rods might work perfectly.
