RTI Prophet II at 102 yards.

I finally got to stretch the legs on my RTI Prophet II today. This was the first time shooting an air rifle at any distance. After the first group the wind picked up and I started trying to "steer" the gun on the rest, pushing it into the sides or base. I think it was affecting the accuracy. Hopefully tomorrow the wind will still be calm, and I can try some other slug in different weights/sizes.

This 102yds shooting H&N .218 21 grain slugs at 1000fps.

Thanks guys! I am very pleased with the Prophet II as I wanted a slug shooter!

I tried the Prophet II again this AM. The wind was calm, but by the time I aired the gun up to 230bar and got everything in the truck, then set everything up in the chicken barn it was blowing 5-8mph.

I shot a quick first group and realized that this scope is 1/10th mil adjustment, not 1/4", so I adjusted up 2 clicks and right 1 click. Then when I was shooting the second group I had a brain fart. I'm almost positive that I only held over one hash mark instead of holding over down to the dot. Everything was in the 10ring except for 1 shot that was about 3.5" low. Then 2 more 5 shot groups before the wind got too bad. I shot a few more groups with some NSA's, but nothing compares with the accuracy I am getting with the H&N .218 21gr at 1000fps!
