RTI Prophet II barrel

Just joined up....been pcp shooting since '05.
Asking if anyone has gotten the new barrel coming out? Have one .22 on preorder. Just curious on real life experience?

The Prophet II barrel and the gun has not been released that I know of..
I have the Prophet I with a 177 , 25, and 30 caliber barrels, But with the 2000 + dollar price that leads a LOT of guns open to my bank account,, At this point in time I am not sure the Prophet II barrels will fit the older models,,

Just purchased Prophet Performance 30 days ago. Ordered the new .22 barrel since I shoot some slugs. Long range pellet barrel is super accurate, but no-go on slugs. From what I gather it will fit.

The new barrel and guns are on pre order basis. 3 to 6 months out. Glad I got good stock of pellets to satisfy the habit until then.
Cast my slugs and they shot very well out of my souped up AF Talon.

My .22 RPB barrels shows up today or tomorrow. Went with the 20" version to keep the length short on my compact. Hopefully this covid breaks soon so I can get out and test it. Have had perfect calm cool days for the past 5 days and have been hunkering down with a sick family since last saturday.

Just got back from 7 day hitch at work. Saw email saying my barrel should be in tomorrow! Soooo ready! Will probably cast/size some slugs later in day in preparation! Really hope the accuracy is as good as they say. The LR pellet barrel is darn accurate.....shot some this am at 100yds only missed 3 out of 48 on a 2" target.

Well what the heck. I ordered a 20" barrel and a 24" shroud. Anyone want to guess what showed up? 24" barrel and 20" shroud. Well let's see how well they handle returns.

I looked at the 24" barrel since no response from RTI yet. Pushed a pellet through it and it came out .216 with the choke felt real close to the end of the barrel. Might even be polygonal rifling by the looks of it. Big thick barrel. The barrel bushing now is a built in stripper as well.

How much did the barrel cost in USD? I assume you ordered it direct from RTI? How much was the shipping?

279 euros for the barrel and 29 euros to ship. I would have to dig through the credit card to find it as it was purchased a couple of months ago.

It was $366 for the barrel, shroud and shipping.

Update, they said the shroud they sent will work with the 24" barrel and that they have a USA location they are using. I believe it is Edgunwest as I received an email from them as well when I ordered. Half tempted to just put the long barrel and shroud in to see how it does instead of wait for the 20" barrel. There will be no extra space in the shroud so the sound is going to be barky.

Disregard. Pulled the shroud out of the plastic and it is the same size as my compact. Not going to work. Waiting on a return label.

Bummer on the mix up. Hope they straighten up for you quickly. My new barrel in last week. Very accurate with pellets. Sub MOA at 100 yds. Tried some slugs I cast. Not impressed. Not barrels fault! Sized .218, 217, 216, 215. Realize lead and proper temp will affect end result. Still going to experiment some more. Hope was to produce decent accuracy for hunting. Slug mold is boat tail 35 gr. Maybe expecting too much. Know swaged is better than cast, but swag kits are pricey.
