I also ordered a Huma reg. the gun started leaking before I received the reg. How is the Huma reg working?

I had no luck with the Huma reg, kinda left me turned off to Huma products. My RTI reg has been okay, especially when compared to the Huma.

The inside of my valve cylinder still looks like new.

The inside of the cylinder didnt change. The original was always smooth but the replacement was terrible from new. Im now using the original balance tube with the new valve.

Ill probably have a go at modifying the valve with a new brass one and balance tube. The top one is the 3rd RTI version of the valve.

Your design will make changing the o-ring currently in the balance tub much easer to change. And the valve would have to be longer so it doesn't loose the seal in blance tube.

If my internal block measurements are correct the valve will be long enough
