P-3 has a balanced/assisted valve, that means you DON'T need to push the hammer as strong as you can. The only real thing you need to happen, is giving the hammer enough force to open the valve. Nothing more. Quick tutorial, but you need a crono. Set your reg at 150b, no force on the hammer (you have to turn the hammer setting all the way down, towards the '-' mark). Once done, just add 1 click towards the '+' mark and check your speed. Repeat until you get a sudden increase in speed, and you will know you have successfully open the valve. That's your playground, 2-3 clicks less or more. Now: is the speed good for you? Is the gun accurate? You won. Is the speed too low or too high? Set your reg coherently with your needs and repeat the process.

La Prophet P-3 ha una valvola bilanciata/assistita. Significa che la sola forza che bisogna dare alla massa battente, è quella necessaria all'apertura della valvola. Darne di più non apporta nessun significativo vantaggio. Ti faccio un piccolo tutorial: il segno + aumenta la forza impartita alla massa battente, il segno - la diminuisce. Per poter settare correttamente la tua P-3, parti impostando una pressione generica al regolatore (125b o 150b), e gira la rotella di regolazione della molla tutta verso il segno "-". Usando un cronometro, spara 5 colpi e guarda la velocità. Aumenta la forza della molla di 1-2 click alla volta, girandola verso il segno "+" (quando avrai preso confidenza con il funzionamento del sistema potrai darne di più) e controlla nuovamente la velocità. Ad un certo punto noterai un aumento improvviso e sostanziale della velocità, quella è la regolazione della molla necessaria per aprire la valvola, con la pressione del regolatore che hai deciso. Ora: la velocità è giusta per la munizione scelta? La carabina è precisa? Se si, hai finito il lavoro. Se no, regola nuovamente la pressione nel regolatore secondo le tue esigenze (se la velocità è eccessiva, abbassala, altrimenti alzala) e ricomincia da capo riportando la molla a 0. Tutto questo parte dal presupposto che tu abbia il regolatore con vite esterna di aggiustamento.
