could in theory this regulator could be used in a AF gun .. one side goes to the bottle and the other side could go in a plenum..? That side purpose is only to pressurized air.?

If the gun is G1/2 x 14 and they use a M18 x 1.5 bottle then yes. Might need a lighter hammer spring and your length of pull will be longer.
