Ruined by too much of a good thing?

I have a stable of LH .177 underlevers (TX200s and HW97s) but there is a clear favorite….the one I shoot the most. It’s a Motorhead tuned 97 in a Gary Cane LH stock (thanks Lewis). it has most of the attributes that Sqwirlfugger gave for the Tyro and is a pure joy to shoot. I rotate the rest but “Fritz” gets shot every day. Uj

It happend to me in regard of brake barrels..... Once I bought my first PCP all my brake barrels became pre-historical.
I still have a Gamo 220 .177… many tins of pellets and lots of vermin dispatched.
I haven’t shot it since I got my Leshiy 2.0 in .22
I had a Diana 54 Airking Pro Laminated in .22… wanted one for years, got it… hated it!
Should be classified as a crew served weapon! Heavy sob. Lol

Looking at adding a Brocock .22 now.
Similar size too my Leshiy but I want a bolt action and I’m concerned about the potential of parts availability.

Anyone else have a gun that shoots so well and fits you so perfectly that it makes every other gun (that you used to love) feel sort of obsolete? A week ago I could shoot my 97k, my Dreamline, a 50S, and even my Gamos pretty interchangeably. Sure they were all a bit different and some are obviously better than others, but that didn't matter. They were fun to shoot.

Then I got this 55 Tyro. Perfectly balanced, just falls into my shoulder, shot cycle is damn near perfect. Its just an all around pleasure to shoot. So I did. Put nearly 3 tins through it in a week. I love it.

Here's the issue now though. When I picked up my 97K, my FWB Sport, my 50S, basically any other gun I have, it feels like I'm holding a 2x4 up to my shoulder. I can still shoot them just fine but it just feels wrong doing so. I didn't have this issue a week ago.

I know this is a fairly petty issue and a "first world problem" I just thought I'd bring it up to see if anyone else had a similar experience with another gun.
Problem solved ! start getting custom stocks for all your guns , easy fix . 😉😃😎

Ha! Same here with the same model! At first the Tyrolean felt weird. Not uncomfortable, just weird. It didn't take long to become my most comfortable air gun when shouldered. Now take a Tyrolean and add a weighted barrel sleeve and it gets even better. Time after time I do better with it than my FWB300S Universal. Give me a stool and a bipod on a field target course though and my 97 with adjustable butt pad takes the cake for comfort.

A custom stock for my .177 97K is next on the list I think. It'll either be that or Tyro 35 with some Anschutz sights. They'll both take a back seat if I can find a nice 55M for the right price though.
