Tuning rws 54 part name

What is that adjustable "rod" that attaches the cocking lever to the compression tube on a RWS 54 and how do you adjust it? I am just wondering if I have it adjusted to tight when I finally put the cocking lever to its return position. I know its supposed to be about 2-3inches above where it finally rests at against the stock. Also, what does your 22cal 54 like pellet wise?

Side lever keeper tensioning rod?

Don't make it obvious you tinkered to void the UMAREX USA LIFETIME WARRANTY.

Screw clockwise or counter clockwise to adjust tension.

14.3gr Brown boxed Crosman Premiers that were discontinued a while ago and Crosman pointed 14.3gr in the 175 count tins.

Both 15.9 and 18.1 AA or JSB and H&N FTT 5.53 5.54 5.55 and Barracuda and Barracuda match 5.53 5.54 5.55 depends varies from gun to gun I have many. There's these swaged home made slugs some private party made 20 years ago looked like North American Arms Cap and Ball but skinnier diameter shot great at 300 yards.

You should be able to hit a soda can no problem at 200 yards with its favorite pellet all the time with no wind.

Haven't tried the Daystate 20gr Howler NSAs yet might be like the 300 yard home made slugs I had great extra long range results with.

OH haven't tried the 14.3gr Crosman Premier Hollowpoints CPHP nor Crosman Premier Domed Ultra Magnums CPUM.

Always had brown box Crosman Premiers and Old Benjamin Domed and Old Crosman Copperhead 14.3gr Pointeds so never needed to try them.

These Crosman pointed pellets were a secret only few knew about back then maybe 20-30 years ago MOA 100 yards from Theoben Rapids and FX Tarantulas and Career II 707 and Sumatras even at high supersonic speeds and Daystate and Air Arms and Loguns and Webley Venom Vipers and others.
