I am very new here, first post. I am also a complete rookie to airguns but plenty of experience with rim and centerfire rifles and pistol/revolvers.
I acquired a beautiful Diana 54 .177 cal. that was manufactured in July 1992 and rarely fired for all these years. I know nothing about this fine rifle and am hoping some of you can wind me up and point me to the right places to find stuff like the owners/operators manual as well as the tech section where I can find info on seal and O ring replacement.
I suspect I will find both lovers and haters of this particular rifle and I will enjoy reading about the advantages and disadvantages along the way. I already know it is a heavy beast and from what I was able to garner so far this rifle could be tough on scopes. Mine does have what I believe are a couple upgrades, IE; stock and better trigger but I don't know if these were factory upgrades such as a Deluxe model or aftermarket additions. The PO is long gone and his widow knew only that he loved this rifle and spent quite a lot for it. It's been untouched in my gun collection for a lot of years now but I never really had much interest in getting it out and on duty until now. Critters getting in my attic and storage shed beware!
Thanks for any help
