RWS Model 3500

I recently purchased a RWS model 3500. I've been trying different pellets to figure out which will be the most accurate for the gun. So far the Premier domed ultra mag and the RWS Super Field pellets perform the best. The RWS super field are more consistent with really no flyers, the Premier has a few flyers now and then. Does any one else have any experience with the 3500?

Well I must say I am very satisfied with the 3500 so far. I've been experimenting with pellets and so far the RWS Super Field 15.9gr has been the best followed by the Premier 14.3gr hollow points and Premier Domed Ultra magnum 14.3. I have the gas piston and am very impressed. I've been plucking squirrels at 30 to 40 yards with no problem. The gun is a little heavy but I'm ok with that because it helps to steady myself.

Different pellet experimentation is worth the effort. I have 7 rifles (4 springer and 2 PCP) and a boatload of pistols. So plenty of all weights and caliber of pellets and slugs. So while shooting my HW97K, and thought the CPL Heavy 10.5 was the deal. Then in the bottom of the box of many different pellets types and weights, I spied the HN 10.65 Barracuda Match pellets. I tried that one, and out at 50 yards, pretty nice groups. So when I got home, off to AOA on the computer, and bought two more tins. For guys that have a few or fewer airguns, maybe a sampler pack is a better way to go. And if lead pellets get hard to find, at this point I will never run out.

They are Assembled in the USA with German and other outside country sourced parts and primarily a Walter based gun such as the Parrus and Terrus.

You may be better off trying heavier pellets to get better accuracy if it's 177 probably JSB 13gr Mo9ster and redesigned try both.

You can also try slightly flaring the skirts from the Crosman pellets with a modified golf tee or a pen or dull drill bit and seat it 1mm to 2mm with Pell seater made using modified golf tee seat same depth everytime for best accuracy.
