I have an opportunity to purchase a S&W 78G pistol along with a Crossman MK2, both said to be in .22 caliber. Here are a few questions, what kind of accuracy can I expect, and what kind of velocities can I expect as well. Approximately how many shots can a person expect to get from a CO2 cylinder as well. Thanks for any answers given.

I have both and they are very accurate.They have decent triggers on them also. Mine shoot close to 400 FPS. (You can adjust the power on both of them) I don’t remember how many shots I get per fill though. You can’t go wrong with either one as long as you get them for a decent price. Both of mine have never been resealed and have very small leaks. They will hold CO2 for at least four months after shooting Around 30 shots through them. I would reseal them but it’s not worth the trouble yet.The Mark 2 actually leaked like a sieve when I got it. So I flooded it with Pellgun oil And kept cocking it over and over and shooting it and after about 8 shots the leak stopped.

Grab them while you can they are both very nice and very smooth shooters 400-500fps and 25 to 40+ shots depending on the tune and the temperature.

I don't know the velocity, but my SW78G gets about 80 shots per cartridge with a Mac1 valve. It can be pretty accurate if the shooter doe their part. Here is 5 shots at 5 meters, 2 hand standing.

Considering at least some iterations of both those guns had adjustable power, and Co2 gun velocity varies with temperature, you can assume 380-450 FPS from either with medium weight .22 pellets, and about 25-50 good shots per cartridge.
