My Raw hm1000x 30. Went with a Magpul stock. Love it.

I just bought a Saber Tactical chassis for an HM1000x

I was very impressed with the quality. BUT it does NOT fit an HM1000x with the factory extended plenum. The plenum is too wide and prevents most forward part of the action from sitting in the chassis.

If you’re running a rifle without the plenum, go for it.

As far as butt stocks, Magpul PRS lite is a great choice. Cheek riser, bag rider, adjustable butt pad. PRS Gen 3 is also great. Heavier and more adjustment.

Not sure about the KSS. Been meaning to reach out to them. If it’s similar volume to the OEM RAW extension then I’ll run that and keep the chassis since it adds a lot of functionality to the gun from a bench perspective. Way more weight and MLOK out front allows you to add even more.

I don’t like any AR buttstock as much as a dedicated rifle stock ( a la the excellent Ultimate Sporter from Air Arms) but the PRS series is great on the bench . I’ve been running it in the RMAC/EBR/PAC circuit for 2 years.

Also running an Anarchy Outdoors grip which is *chefs kiss*

Well I had a look at the KSS on their website, the diameter of the plenum looks the same as the Reg from the photos so I should be ok in a Saber Chassis. Ive just ordered one by accident (Pro Tip - dont look at stuff when you just woke up).


Can you share some photos of your chassis in its BR setup? Keen to see it.
