Donny sent me a valve to try out, wow they are butter smooth, the drain knob is nice and big very very nice, dials on the gauge are damn accurate far as i can tell, only filed up my maverick and really nice to use, very user friendly in my book AA PLUS FOR SABERS NEW TANK VALVE

i think id rather have dead head than another gauge t worry about plus the main gauge will be more accurate you loose very little air to check tank presure

Yeah that is true.

Just use to seeing the pressure in the tank, just something to get use to is all.

My Brancato valve spoiled me like that as well.

I bought a 97 cu ft Air Venturi a month or so ago to feed my EVOL .30 and to be honest I do not miss the second gauge as much as I thought I would. It WOULD BE nice to have one on there, but dead heading is pretty quick.

Doesn’t “dead heading” cause the need to bleed the line, after finding out the pressure in the tank? All the “dead heading and bleeding” to check tank pressure seems wasteful. What’s the advantage of this type of valve over a Stikman, particularly on an SCBA?

Very miniscule amount of air wasted in a microbore hose when dead heading.
I may only do it twice, if that many times before it just gets plugged back up to the Alkin anyways.

those little second gauges are usually off anyways, i fill mt tank when i cant get to 250 bar anyways so its not a really waste of air like others have said

So how is the Sabor tactical tank valve working out?
I'm thinking I need one.

My ST valve is working well, nice large gauge with 5 bar resolution, larger fill and bleed knobs and a carry handle. The dead heading for tank pressure is a non-issue for me, I just pay attention when I’m filling guns, and know I know when I like to refill (around 230bar for me).

What was the issue that you had with the first one?

It was kind of a non-issue in the end. The way the knob is secured on a threaded shaft, the knob was unthreading, rather than opening the valve. I added a star washer and all is well.
