I am wanting to shoot some Leighhigh rounds through my Texan .457. Just trying to figure out if it's a good idea, will the sabot foul my barrel will plastic, and how hard would it be to clean it is so. What are everyones thought! Thanks in advance!
Very interesting! I've actually never heard of that, but I'm going to do a little research! ThanksInstead of a plastic sabot you can also try paper patching. There are many people using it even with smokeless centre fire rifles of different calibres and that is what was used before plastic sabots became popular. The plastic is just the easy and lazy alternative of paper patching.
