safety edgun r5m

A lot of the R5s are like that. Both my R5M Long and R5 SM have safeties that are either way too hard or impossible to put to safe with one hand. I’m not sure if the safety is adjustable or not? Maybe an EDGun fanboy will step to the plate with an answer and adjustment procedure.

Lol. Calm down Mike. We all know that EDguns are not perfect to include a lot of other brands.

Hello my name is Jonhattan from Uruguay and i have an edgun r5m 6.35 long.
I have the problem with the safety of the rifle, it is really hard and impossible to place, I already tried with the adjustment of the trigger and I continue with the same problem.
Any recommendation
regards

This is a dumb question..but is the rifle cocked when you attempt to put the safety on?

The user manual implies the gun must be cocked prior to putting the gun on "safe".

My bad. I expected to get jumped on for criticizing EDgun again (even though I have 3)… ;)

@jonhabri When its not loaded the safety can easily be engaged, but then you can't cock the gun... Needs to be done after the gun is cocked.

I know I’m late to the party, but yes my leyla’s safety is hard to engage when loaded. At first I was just pushing on one side. Pretty soon, I had to tighten the Allen screw holding the safety on. I retightend and now use both sides of the safety to engage. I don’t need to use both sides anymore, it is habit, but just like my trigger and cocking bolt, the safety gets easier with use.
