safety issue? - green oxidation on regulator

So...

after sorting my pcp parts box today, i found some used regulator, which i had not in use for some months.

It was screwed on an 0,4 aluminium tank and was not used very often then it was attached on a bottle.

I did not seen this rust on the brass inlet hole after screw it from the bottle, the bottle is now in use with an other regulator and this regulator was in the box for a few months now (its dry in the box).

I think my air from my yong heng / Tuxing compressors are not dry enough, so i get moisture inside the tank.

Did you guys think that this is a safety issue? I cleaned the "rust", it goes away relatively good on the lower side and seem not to have penetrated the brass material.

Should i deflate the other bottles which are in use for safety reasons?

I don't know how the other regulators look from the inside, and if there is moisture inside them, but i think there will, because i inflate them all with the same compressors.

Here are some photos of the issue:

Have someone here seen this inside of their bottles?

Yes, on Umarex Gauntlet but more slimy, result of overheated air from defective (no coolant) Chinese handpump. Switched to Yong Heng, after adding higher dollar PCPs to collection, but 4" cotton-insert filter and $60 M50 molecular sieve still wasn't sufficient. Water coalescing filter (eBay$125) was answer for removing bulk moisture, molecular sieve doing final touch-up. All good now. WM

Good first step. One gold filter pictured is molecular sieve, the other, IIRC, is cotton filled. Spare bottles of replacement media is nice. If you can access eBay, search, "water-coalescing PCP filter," cut-away diagram will show operation. No media, so not technically a filter, channels and passageways direct heavier water and oil molecules to bottom, for venting, while cleaner, dryer air exits @ top. Several years on mine left corrosion on entrance fittings, exit, like new. Not all will need water-coalescing filter but soaked cotton-inserts or molecular sieve media indicates upgrade required. WM
