FX Said I'd NEVER sell my FX Boss, BUT.....

Gerry, I say don’t sell it. It’s one thing if you were shooting four tins a week of 30 cal and yes that can get pricey, but for the amount of ammo you shoot do you really think you’ll recoup the cost differences? If the DRS costs say $1K, how long is it going to take for you to recoup that expense by the savings of going to 25 caliber?

If your bored and just have a hankering to tinker pick up one of the popular low cost PCP’s that have proven themselves, like one member I know who recently invested in a gamo urban, a notos, and an avenger just “to play with” while his top tier guns are put away

If you like the Boss keep it. You will take a bath selling it. You will take a bath on the DRS when you realize is not comparable to what you have sold. The DRS is designed for Rimfire shooters and I see it as a very desirable yet compromised design to cater to the powder burner crowd. If harder times are indeed on the horizon it will be harder to replace what you already have. Convert it to .25.

Scott, I already decided I'll keep my most loved Boss. It was a passing whim. Thanks to all you guys who convinced me to use common sense. BTW, things with my wife have done a 180 & she's back at home & we're working things out 🙂 (y)
Glad to hear the good news Gerry!

Where? From what I understand it's special order only & I'm not even sure about that.
I found them on a web site at $1699. for the non wood stock. I will see if I can find it again, but special order would be worth the wait. You may be right, the websites I checked show them to be out of stock. That's a shame, but progress knocks out good things sometimes.
