Sand, paint or carbon wrap?

I went with the carbon wrap…for now, what would you do? I absolutely hated the word TACTICAL printed on the Cricket 2 stock and was planning to sand and paint over it until I found some 3m carbon fiber wrap in a drawer that I’ve had for years.
I liked the way it turned out so I decided to wrap the shroud also, it also covers a scratch I put on shroud almost immediately after unboxing gun (don’t ask ). I actually have a SC stock I planned to use, but this orange laminate is really starting to grow on me.

I think you should have just run with the tactical theme and turned the bottle into a fake underbarrel grenade launcher. Maybe fit a bayonet and wear body armor and a helmet when you go to the range.

It’d be super tacticool!

The wrap doesn't look bad. You could try and use some acetone or MEK and remove the letters.

Are the letters laser engraved or is it ink?

@Sawney Bean I did ponder doing something of this sort, but was worried about weight, it’s already quite hefty

@frankie I know right, if it said TacII, I probably wouldn’t have minded that much. TACTICAL is the name of the gun though.

@woogie_man Looks like the letters are powder coating on top if powder coating? I thought of a few possibilities to remove, worse case scenario, just paint it. I’m digging the wrap, makes it unique. You order the U2 yet?

When I had one I cut a piece of gaffers tape and put it over it. I'm not a fan of big block letters.

I thought of black tape too, the carbon fiber really is just tape
