Another TX200 acquisition thread

Got her in yesterday with a one piece Hawke mount, scope will have to wait until next month unfortunately (Hawke Airmax 4-12x40).

Will take some better pics tomorrow when I have daylight.

This has got to be the first gun I've ever received that didn't come wrapped in plastic btw.
Nifty little box that holds and protects it well regardless.

Yes, I was impressed with the factory boxing. I got mine from topairgun.com (Dirt E. Harry, CEO) sounded strange, and had some odd comments about the online store but I took a chance, got quick shipping and delivery and the factory box was wrapped and boxed . The TX 200 I got had some absolutly beautiful wood, quite a bit of crocth/flame grain in the buttstock. A month or so later I orderd a prosport from him, same packaging, and quick delivery. Stock not nearly as nice, looks more like the one you show, but the grain flows more into the buttstock.

You will love it. An evolved design. And the easiest ever to disassemble for inspection, Lube tuning or polishing, no spring compressor jig required.
Even with the bear trap safety on the piston, it can still be decocked by holding down the release lever as you ease the lever back forward.

Excellent choice, that is a fine weapon of heirloom quality. I have had the best luck with the JSB 8.44 452 head size.

A straw will be needed to clean the barrel. There is about six inches of baffles in the end of the barrel. Insert the straw to feed a pull through bore cleaner from the breech out of the barrel.

Figured it was pointless to post more pics or update without the scope.

Mounts liked to walk back a bit at first, but pretty sure that's sorted.
Still getting used to the shot cycle/hold. Quite a bit snappier/harsher compared to what I'm used to, can definitely see why the 12ftlb kits are so popular for them.
