SCBA tank "15 year life" Extension

Just found out there is a D.O.T. program by which the 15 year life of carbon fiber tanks can be extended (maybe). Waiting for response from the company licensed to do said extensions. If it turns out to be viable & CHEAPER than buying a new tank I'll be a happy air gunner. Anyone else know about this?

The company is called "Digital Wave" They do it for the Navy.

There was just a discussion on this partially buried in diff thread. I just can't find it. I remember something about their permit being in limbo while a true 30yr life is discussed. Even if I'm wrong, the fee Digital Wave fee advertised to the public (especially after shipping them the tank) didn't seem to make economic sense for the individual. Maybe that's diff now, It's been a while since I looked the info up.

Pyramid air is a big airgun company and they do it and sell their tank less. Check them out. These tanks are certify for 30 years.

Haven't heard back from Digital Wave yet & in the meantime I found a 60 minute SCBA tank with 10 yrs. left for$225 so I bought it.
