SCBA tank boot

What have you guys done to make your scba tank stand up? 

I've seen the cages, pvc, wood, and all-thread contraptions, but I'm kinda just looking to make it stand up like a flat bottomed SCUBA tank. 

Does a regular 80cf SCUBA tank boot fit an 88cf SCBA tank?

You can buy a boot from R&L Airgun Supply for around $13.00 or try Joe B . sure one of them has answers to your question . My 98 (great White) already had the boot But I put the bottle in a 8" pvc pipe ( Padded inside for protection) & it stands up solid . The Pipe & end caps are kinda expensive thought . I've heard that you have to heat the neck of the boot up with a heat gun for it to go on easier. Best of luck Darell

Looks a bit better in person. Theres a rounded divet for the tank to sit in. And all the arms are rounded to center on the tank. Nylon rope secured very tight, and a carry handle. Can be set on it's side as well. Total cost ~$8

Tank boots are sized coming in 6.7 - 6.9" and 5.5" diameter sizes. Measuring, its pretty obvious which one you have. Both of my 88 ft3 SCBAs are the larger size, pushing the 6.9" diameter.
