SCBA Tank Value

Hello,

I purchased a scba tank from pyramid air a couple years ago. Can someone help me determine life and value of the tank as I am likely looking to sell it. Thanks in advance

Looks like you have one of those recertified cylinders. It should be good for another 15 years after the acoustic test date. I think that there is a more stringent test schedule on those bottles. I seem to remember that they need to be sent back to Digital Wave for their 5-year acoustic test instead of a normal hydro. I don't think that PA bothers with them anymore. They were asking almost as much as a new bottle for them. It's only worth what somebody will pay but you should be able to get $100-$200 for it.

Original mfg date is Sept., 2000. Don't know how long acoustic cert is good for OR if regular 5 yr hydro is also required. I suggest contacting "Digital Wave" co. & asking them.
