if you can see the close-up picture of the small hole on the tank, that is where I believe the air is escaping from. I’m pretty sure I closed the release valve by the gauge.
 
I forgot about this thread and just getting caught up. Since it's been three days I'm assuming the problem has been resolved. Cameo be sure and check every fitting with generous amounts of good soapy water. Sometimes it sounds like it's coming from one spot but it may be an adjoining fitting. You might also swing it by your local fire department and see if they might give you some pointers.

Thanks for getting back to me. The problem persists, however, I might have a solution to the problem. You kind of mentioned it in your post concerning the problem could be coming from somewhere else. I saw a video on YouTube a couple of days ago where the host mentioned that you could avoid air leaks by using plumber’s thread tape and ensuring that the charging adapter connection was really tight. I will relook my connections and use some thread tape. Hopefully that will help.
