I've been doing some looking, marauder, armada, avenger, is there a semi auto that is compared to these (quality, price, etc) any other guns you think that will compare? Thanks for all the advice and info so far.
Search, "Semi Auto," in search box, upper right corner of page. Anything catches your eye; Google search the airgun to locate seller websites you can visit for pricing. Pyramyd Air, a forum sponsor, will be a good place to find Semi-Auto Marauder prices. WM

I would avoid a semi-auto at this experience and price level including the SAM (semi automatic Marauder) as they require a little futzing around with and are not going to feed as reliably as a bolt or side lever and are not as powerful as the standard versions.

Of curiosity, Volquartsen makes a side lever 1022 based rimfire rifle called the Summit. They re-engineered their clone of the Ruger 1022 semi-auto to use a side lever bolt. Why would they do this?? Well, it is alleged to be more accurate and when using legal tax stamp suppressors it is much more quiet because the action is not slamming back and forth as in the standard 1022 rifles.

My point to the OP is, you do not need a semi-auto pellet rifle and if you really do then you need a Western or a Huben and a bunch of $$$$$$. Or an equal amount of patience and perseverance and mechanical talent.

Imo semi auto is just more things that can go wrong, again my 2 cents, i don’t dislike semiautomatic at all.. I have an Armada in .22 and I absolutely love it, out of the whole fleet it’s in my top 3 favorites!

I've been talking to a couple of guys that are on this forum, and they have been super helpful. I was looking at the armada (marauder), gauntlet, and air venturi (used). Found out that they were pretty much limited to 50 yards as far as consistent shots. I'm needing just a bit more pop, my shop from the house is just over 60. Probably will end up shooting an old .22 short rifle, cause I can't see spending over a 1,000 dollars on a air rifle that won't hold it's value.
