Scope issues

Get a yard stick and put one end on the breech block with the rest hanging down the length of the barrel. It will show you how much droop your barrel has.
You could bend it and I know many do, but if it's under warranty, send it back and put the money towards something better.

p.s. - don't buy cheap scopes on Amazon to stick on springers :)
Steve do you have a suggestion on a good scope? I want 3-9 at least, $50 and up range decent ?

HW50 is 339.00 delivered from Krale. It will be to you quicker than most places here in the U.S. could ship it. Mine was on my doorstep 3 days after I placed the order. It’s a quality rifle that you can pass down a couple generations if you wanted to.

I think you guys have me sold on the Hw50

First off Tom, I appreciate the reply and the information, incredibly useful actually. I subscribed to your YouTube channel and just watched the episode on optically centering and the adjustable scope mounts,👍 I mean that's the exact problem I am having, like exactly.

I do have a question about seeing the barrel in the bottom of the scope. The first scope I tried , that came with the gun, I shimmed it so high in the rear, you can see the greyish blob in the bottom of the scope, that is the barrel. The thing that sucks is that this is the closest I've gotten to getting it zeroed! It's soooo close man like 4 Inches too low still , at 10-12 yards.

So won't I have this same issue, even with adjustable rings ?? It seems like I'm going to have to hike the back end of the scope a lot, to get it zeroed, I would rather not see any barrel lol.
Should I get raised adjustable rings ? Like some that are overall taller ?
Air rifles all have an arc trajectory, the pellet starts out low then climbs and finally drops at a given distance. You will usually see the peak of this trajectory path around 25 yards give or take a few yards. You need to be sighting around the peak point. For example, I zero my .177 PCP rifles at 30 yards. I use my scopes reticle for hold over and my 10 yard and 55 yard hold point are the same, both 13 MOA. Most scopes aren’t going to be able to zero at 10 yards on an airgun, and really you don’t want that unless you are shooting exactly 10 yards all the time.

Ummm....any number of good scopes out there that are airgun rated and that will be feature No. 1 to look for. If you aren't sure, email the company making it and ask.
Decide on a price range you can live with and there are plenty of actual HW50s owners here that will happily help you decide on a scope that fits both your wants and budget.

Makes sense cannonball , I'll back it up to 35-30 yards and give it a shot lol, or a few shots rather 👍..I'm going to go ahead and get the HS50 and a Luepold I found for about $100, thank you for the help guys, I'm sure I'll post something again soon , much appreciated

Sublime,

Adjustable mounts will definitely correct your zero problem. If you still see the barrel in the scope, you can probably get a 1 inch riser block to go between the gun's dovetails and the scope mounts. Look around, probably less than 20 bucks, relatively cheap fix.

Trying to get my Benjamin Prowler break barrel sighted in. When I first got the rifle, I used the Center point 4x32 scope it came with.
I got the windage adjusted properly with very little issue, however, the elevation is cranked all the way "up" and the gun is still shooting too low.
I added a few "shims" to the rear scope mount, to raise up the rear in hopes it would correct this. I have it shimmed so much you can see the tip of the barrel in the bottom of the scope, and it still shoots too low, it's almost there! But not quite.

I got a different scope , a 3-9x40,, exact same issue with this one , maxed out all the way and still shoots too low. This sçope has a direct dovetail mount, no round mounts, so I can't shim this one to try that out.. I am a beginner, what the hell am I doing wrong here ? 2 Scopes can't be off, any advice is appreciated.
I have been doing and am currently doing research on it, just looking for live advice 👍👍

By saying it's shooting too low, I mean the POI is lower the center of my cross hairs. I need to lower the cross hairs more to match the POI, but I'm out of clicks
Get some Fx no limit high mount Ring’s and solve your problem

I actually found a slanted dovetail to picatinny rail,(attached picture)
It doesn't give me any real adjustment like adjustable scope rings would, but it would fit the one piece mounting style scope I have now.
I could give it a try, or just get adjustable scope rings ,a better scope and call it a day👍
