Scope mount for an HW 30?

Greetings all. Looking for suggestions for a good scope mount for an HW 30. I've read one piece mounts may be best for springers. I know the little rifle won't recoil like a faster gun, but, wonder if it's still a good idea.

Please mention any specific mounts you would suggest. Planning on ordering through Airguns of Arizona.

Thanks much, Flintlock.

Not all break barrels need droop compensation. My HW30 did not need it at all. The problem is you don't know until you shoot the gun with a scope mounted. If you get a mount with a fixed amount of droop compensation built in and the gun doesn't need it then you have the opposite problem with regards to optical centering of the reticle.

I have read of a fair number of HW30 owners that do not have droop.

I own a lot of Hawke scopes and have all models. I just feel they are way overpriced compared to the much cheaper clearer and nicer options that's all and I personally am done that's all. I bought a Sidewinder 30 last 2 months ago and found another significantly cheaper brand I really like better thats all. JUST a personal preferance because I am most critical about clear optics and money well spent especially stuff made in China. I think Most people wouldn't care.

Hawke has a good customer in me at least, I own 30: Sport HD, Vantage, Airmax and Panorama, all but 1 bought through sales at Dvor.com, so I saved a bundle buying them and no complaints about any of them.

Flintlock....my Beeman R7 .20 with a Hawke Airmax 3-9x40 AO scope. The rings are reversed Hawke Reach Forward Match mounts which are also a favorite since I like my scopes to sit back some on my rifles.
