Start off zeroed, 50 rounds within an inch at 35 yards, come back in an hour shooting 3 inches low, adjust, back to 50 rounds within an inch. Come back in an hour 3-4 inches high, back and forth back and forth, up and down, up and down. Its as if the heat of the day affects it that much.

I think I need a better scope.

This is what I bought, its 2 weeks old.

Seems like your magnum is busting your scope

I'm no pro, but IMHO, it almost sounds like turret is slipping. Maybe the springs/mechanism inside. I've got one that I used to have on a regular springer. Now it's on my Hatsan Vectis. no real problems with it. I actually love the reticle on them. I"m a scope nut; so if you get your money back and want to try another, ping me and I'll sell you mine.

It seems very strange that a scope could hold zero and be consistent for an entire shot string like that, but wander that far while not in use. Could you comment on the specific rifle, temp/weather conditions, and the change to conditions in the hour between shot strings? Any chance you compared velocities between shot strings?
Gamo swarm magnum 10x gen 3i, I put the scope that came with it back on and it is not doing that. Gotta be the scope. I am sending it back for replacement through Amazon.

Amazon is going to replace it, I put the one that came with the gun back on and its doing fine. I think what you mention here has something to do with it.

Yeah, I've actually had that happen to me on a scope I bought from someone on here. Wasn't necessarily his fault, I just don't think he ever used it to notice it. It happens sometimes, especially on cheaper scopes. Glad you got it worked out.
