Scope Question (problem solved)

Does the front mount have a pin too? Could you swap the mounts & put the pin in the front location? Then slide the rear mount all the way back... Otherwise, those offset mounts are your best bet.
No, the hole for the pin is pre-drilled for the back… The offset option is interesting 🤔 need to see if they make one specifically for a Weaver 11mm rail or I’m going to have to add a Picatinny rail & suddenly I have a Lego/Erector Set going on 🤣

I’ve mounted a Hawke Airmax on my GAMO Bone Collector, but I’ve ran out of room on the front end and now I can’t break the barrel and I can’t slide the scope back any further.

Can anyone give me some ideas on what to do?

Gamo really poorly designed both the Bone Collector and the Fusion models. There is only the one pin stop hole in the top of the receiver. Any ordinary scope over 12.25 inches will not fit. It is designed for their el cheapo package scopes.

You have two choices.
1. Get a dove tail to picatinny offset rail adapter and a set of picatinny rings. This will allow you to still have the stop pin in the adapter and you can position the scope as you like.

2. What I do, but I have a garage full of tools and patience and knowledge from doing. I use a cobalt drill bit and drill a deeper hole in the top of the rail stop screw, I think it is call an M8. Then I file the top of the rail stop screw down even with the rail and install the ring stop pin into the top of the rail stop screw . This moves the mounts back one inch and allows the use of ordinary size scopes. This provides a new place for the stop pin allowing the assembly to move back one inch.

I've used these Monstrom offset mounts. They may come with dovetail configuration down below.

I do not have a Henry. I do however have an old Marlin 25/20. You can try that 3/4 height idea first by using a scrap of plywood or something 3/4 inch thick. Just use big rubber bands or masking tape or whatever and wrap it around scope and rifle and see if 3/4 is too high. One thing leads to another and you may then need one of those slip on comb risers.
We as a family have several Bone Collectors and one Fusion and all three like the Red Fire Pellets the best with the H and N FTT coming in second. Just a hint as 3 out of 3 is predictable. They shoot 3/4 inch groups at 30 yards consistently. Decent little rifles actually.

Bought a different Hawke scope and it fits great but now (literally just now) I loaded a magazine and the magazine doesn’t load a pellet or rotate… tried different pellets and different magazines but it’s not dropping one down… I’m feeling a bit jinxed here!

Surprised this has gone on as long as it has. Nothing wrong with the scope gun combo. The part that is wrong is the mounting device. You need an offset scope mount. Just google and you will see they allow the scope to be shifted back further as the ring that clamps to the tube is offset behind the picatiny or dovetail base it is attached too.

the problem is when you break/cock the gun the inertia system is malfunctioning.

In Pic #1 can see it’s in the wrong position to line up with the pusher pin. It should automatically align (tilt forward) with it but it’s not.

In Pic#2 it’s in the right position but I had to manually push it into the correct position (it moves easily) but once a magazine is in the loading dock (for some reason) it doesn’t automatically line up?

A setback / offset mounts or higher rings . The package scope and mount fit and cleared ,right? Bit the set back / offset mounts like showed above is the better way to go for longer tubed scopes. Then on the loader contact gamo support and im sure they will help resolve that with a self fix or send you the parts needed to make right...
