Scope recommendation please After a long Hiatus

Haven't been active with the hobby for a couple of years... Over come by time and events. . Used to be on the the Yellow but found out just the other day that it went Kaput. Anyways, does anyone know of a latest good quality scope (not as huge as the big Nikko) in the market for bench rest? Any info will be appreciated.

There’s a good deal on a used sightron SIII on Utah airguns. Great scope from what I’ve heard.

I would look at March. If you need to save weight, they have 30 mm models, otherwise 34 gives you a little more light. They have an unbelievable range of power settings. I would go variable even though it’s bench rest. From the discussions I had with the former march distributor, the variable power scopes are superior. They were selling them at 40% off as distributors changed last spring, there may be some deals out there on really nice ones.

The old YF is still around but under a different name. Tough to make a recommendation based on what information you provided. Bench rest at what distances? What is your scope budget? March is nice if you want to spend 3 or 4 grand. If you want to spend 3 or 4 hundred its a useless recommendation. A used Nightforce target can be had for half of what a March will cost, but would be about the same size as the boat anchor Nikko that you said don't want. Give us something to go on.
