Scope recommendations for my HW97K

Hi everyone! New member here checking in. I've been lurking here for a while as I recently purchased a new HW97k. I'd like to hear some recommendations on scopes from you guys. I'm just planning to target shoot and some pest control. I'd like the scope to be SFP with a IR, pretty good clarity, and definitely durable to handle the recoil. This will probably get shot a lot to take care of some rats in the area.

Hawke’s look nice, but read many positive & negative comments about them. Warranty and customer service is great I’ve read.

I have multiple Hawke and SIGHTRON Stacs, no problems including in D54. I mount in Burris Signature rings with the plastic inserts which helps mitigate the vibration that is tough on scopes. The Hawkes I like best are the Sidewinders with 56mm front objective.

Yes sir and held up on the Gamo Magnum springer ahead of the HW95.

I use athlon ,( talos) used on gamo and HW for several years and boo koos of shots . Matter of fact it's on the gamo right now .

No question asked lifetime warranty . In Kansas City area quick resolves and turnaround if sent in for satisfaction . I bought a abused store display and sent it in and got back a solid working scope under 2 weeks shipping both ways and all to my door .. just beware guys say it's good on a springer and I got well over 2000 shots with it ...lol 2000? Man thats not much ...lol.

Also if that discovery spits her bits where do you go on its warranted ? China ?

Well I guess but don't see USA.. no USA address and a china phone# : +86 18665909287.

The ones that use to be sold in the USA the best scope just had a 3 year ..

I guess if or when it goes you'll then know how good the warranty is..

Seems that warranty would be a big selling point put up front . Ijdk

Alright everyone, I may have decided on 2 scopes with IR. Let me know your opinions on clarity and holding 0. Hawk Sidewinder or MTC King Cobra. What do you guys think?

I have a HW30S with a Hawke 4-12x40 AIRMAX but have just ordered and anxiously waiting for my new HW97K. I’m putting a 6-25x50 Hawke AIRMAX IR on it. I’ll shoot mainly targets at 50 yards. This will be my 3rd Hawke scope and love them.

I've got a Sightron S1 4x12x40 AO on my HW97k. I like it a lot. It replaced a Hawke Airmax 3x9x40.

The Airmax is a good scope and has lasted about 40k shots. I'm not crazy about the reticle for hunting or dark backgrounds but I like it for targets. It has served me well.

I think the Sightron is a better scope as far as glass is concerned and I like the reticle a lot better. They are both reasonably priced and have a lifetime warranty.

Neither have illumination.
