Score for the old Gauntlet

Accuracy suffered after upgrade to 2200psi regulator and larger tank. Modified to externally adjustable HS, but no joy, so set aside. Cooler Florida weather brings increased PCP attention so decided on a fresh start. Thorough cleaning, re-lube and fastener tightening, in addition to further HS tweaks, resulted in today's 50yd group with JSB 33.95s. Set Gauntlet on outdoor gun rack and got Snowpeak M60B .35 for target work. Guess this guy didn't get the no-fly memo, landed in the tall pine behind my house and started squawking, Gauntlet took care of business. WM

Subsequent chrono testing reflects JSB 33.95 MK2s @ 790 FPS, SD 3.61, ES 13 for 47 FPE. Topped off tank during multi-PCP Yong Heng fill session last evening, length and weight of Gauntlet still blows my mind. WM
This was my first pcp in .25, I got it shortly after I started working on iguana removal. From there on I started working closely with the owner of the first airgun store in South Florida, AirgunOne Inc. Inside of a pawn shop building with just about everything airgun you could think of from $30 - $1000 with the exception of FX brands and European brands. I started working on my G1 .25 and getting decent power out of it, I always managed to get great accuracy at the time and it was one of the guns I spent more time practice shooting than shooting iguanas. Eventually I tired of the length and got an Akela .22, but my G1 .25 was great out of the box
