Scott scba thread size

The neck size is 7/8-14UNF, or .875-14UNF whichever way you prefer to call it. If you buy a tank without a valve, I would recommend a yoke assembly that has a DIN300 connection rather than the CGA-347 which are fireman's valves. In my experience the DIN300 valves give more fine tuning air control when you fill a rifle. Additionally, you can find valve assemblies that don't require you to buy a separate fill whip.

I posted in an older thread about Scott SCBA thread size (no pun intended) for the quick connect, but thought I'd post here since it's more recent. I purchased this to replace the quick connect valved screwed into the tank, but could only get it about half a turn before it wouldn't screw down anymore. Did I buy the wrong / defective item or is there a different sized threads I need to get?

My Scott air tank main threads (where the SCBA regulator screws in) are 7/8-14UNF. It looks like what you referenced is G5/8 explaining why it won't thread in (wrong threads). Unfortunately the charging adapter I purchased from Amazon is no longer available through them (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088P56CW1). But the description may help you out.

Thanks, I actually have one of those on order (before they removed) and hopefully will get it in a month or so. In the meantime, I was looking to use the G5/8 adapter, it didn't work with the quick fill threads. So, I'm wondering if G5/8 is correct?

I purchased my scba fill station from AGN member jking a few years ago. He assembles them from quality parts and occasionally posts them here in the classified section, I see he has an ad up now: https://www.airgunnation.com/threads/4500psi-scba-firemans-tank-fill-adapter.1270837/

A little more costly but much better quality than the ebay units imo.
Thanks, I don't think this will fit; I believe the fill has a check valve that only allows air to enter and not exit. The adapter I'm looking for is one that fits the quick connect, which is what I'm trying to confirm size on.

Update to this thread. I purchased the fill adapter above (7/8-14UNF) and it fit the quick connect threads, but it's too long to screw all the way in. In other posts, it says it's G5/8, but obviously that isn't correct or I have a different CGA-347 valve.

I have 2 options now: find a 7/8-14UNF fill staton with shorter threads or try to take the CGA-347 valve off...which has been a PITA.

Recommendations?

My Scott tank also came without a regulator. Picked up this one from Amazon and have been happy with it. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088P56CW1/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_X2E73GSEQHBQ8D3Z1WC3?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
That looks like a well made setup. Are you able to control the volume flow easily? I found this one on Amazon from another seller but there were some buyer comments saying it was very difficult to control the flow - all or nothing basically. That listing offers two thread sizes - M18x1.5 & 5/8-18UNF. Is the 5/8-18UNF what the threads are on the Scott tank openings? If not, what tanks use 5/8-18UNF?
