Brocock/BRK Scratches on brand new gun barrel?

On new equipment that is disappointing.

If it shoots great though that’s what matters to me.

I bought a used Anschutz 54 (22LR) from a friend because he took delivery and realized the barrel was no longer blued, it was spray painted black. We shot it, it hammered, and I got a hammer rifle for pretty cheap. Looks don’t matter when eyes are focused on the results sheet.

Take the barrel in a different caliber. All Ghost barrels get scratches when you pull them out for cleaning
I tried, I think they realized they were $600 so they offered a discount on the barrel or the $200 so I just took the cash. I will just polish them out. I’m happy with the gun and vendor. Problem solved!

The nice thing about the guns with a little wear…. You use them more and care less about the little things. I have plenty of safe queens that I hate to shoot. Plus this gives me $200 towards another gun…trying to decide on an arrow shooter! The bush pig or the M600…..can’t decide
