Daisy Seals Daisy 856- source?

I am restoring some air rifles I inherited from my dad recently. Today has been a production line. A positive roll so to speak.

I seem to have hit a dead end however with this one. Ebay, Amazon and Google are coming up empty. I can seemingly find pump seals, and rebuild kits for every Dasiy but the 856. I think it is the same kit needed for an 860 as well.

Any suggestions?

JG airguns shows the rifles
it appears that the 856 and 860 parts are about the same and i would assume you have contacted Daisy for parts
the rifles are at least 22 years old but i would call Daisy and ask for parts diagrams they can be sent to your email and then see if that have what you need
if these were just someone's rifle that need fixing, they do not have enough value to do just that but in your case i understand

Thanks! I dropped Daisy a note. I think I know the parts I need, I just can't find them. Key, I think, is the pump seal. I probably can construct Mos of the others.

you know i know nothing about these rifles but i am a quick learner
so the seal that makes these rifle run is the part group 360ab but in that group the seal is called an Abutment and a new word for me
now JG airguns show them, and the price is fine but there shipping can take the fun out of it

now as i read and look it was an interesting little rifle
now there are parts out there and the problem is where are they and how to find them and that becomes the impossible part and believe me i have been chasing parts for all sorts of brands for 20 years
the factory or JG will be your source for parts and if Daisy has them the price plus the shipping costs will be far less but as Crosman had done in the past and Daisy i would think also, they sell the parts off to a parts seller and they become the only place to play and you pay their price or hope you find the Unicorn you are look for
and one last thing any parts will be as old as the last rifle produced and that matters little when it comes to hard parts but in the case of soft parts seals and the like they are not fresh by any means and that would or could be in most cases
good luck Mike
