Crosman Seeking info about an older Crosman Challenger Pro I just received

Just had this fall into my hands today and know nothing about it.
Was talking to someone today about my current project of making pellet traps for some indoor shooting of my break barrel and 40+ yr old bb pistol my dad found stored away. They said they had this laying around unused for several years.
Basically there kid lost interest in shooting, it developed a leak and just got put away.
Didn't cost me anything so it now setting upstairs to see how long it takes to leak down. They're description sounded like a vavle leak, coming out the barrel. Didn't hear anything after filling it, but haven't done any test yet since just walked in the door from work.
Got the airgun bug last year with a big bore but otherwise a newbie. So looking for any info about this gun, tuning, ect. And possibly where an o-ring might be found if needed.

Personally can not tell if that is an original (pcp) "2009" or the improved - as was originally designed but- model. If "a" big bore is your only experience you are in for a treat! Crazy nice trigger, will group, and /177 is THE cal. best ever and everyone should have and learn one. You might want to go the airgun revisions and get the rear sight though it is scope worthy indeed.
IF the original you will want this:
O-rings can be found at Ace hardware(yes the correct ones too) or such, or Crosman and I would think any of the online o-ring suppliers in kits.
Naturally leaking out the barrel would require a new valve stem, easily sourced and rebuilding one is a breeze even with zero experience.

Heck of a score. Keep us posted.

Thanks for the feed back and the video. Seems easy enough, but for the small parts and my fumble fingers. Certainly not something I'd do upstairs in my old farmhouse where my stuff is, way to many cracks in the floor for small parts to vanish forever into.
Been busy today working rusty old scrap metal into a box pellet trap. Going to incorporate it into some shelves I need to build as I'm out of places to put all may air gun stuff. It certainly accumulates the further you go down the PCP rabbit hole.
Good news, 24 hrs at just under 2000 psi and can't tell that the gauge has moved any. Balloon on end of barrel hasn't inflated any either.
I also got a Benjaman hand pump with the gun, but he didn't have a filter on it. A guess in the dark is they possible got moisture into the gun which kept the o-ring from sealing, at least till it sat empty and dryed out.
I'll be using a compressor with which I've gone over kill with filters.
This will be a change once I get shooting indoors set up. Got a personal range and the big bore is fun, but it's a real chore dragging everything down from upstairs, loading up, driving to my back 40, thing lugging it all back. It's not something to just pull out and shoot a little in the evening after work. Nor something you can do on a rainy day. Wife won't let me shoot the big bore out the upstairs window, even with the moderator.🤬
