Seeking Your Input to Help Shape the Future of AirGun Products

Hello AirGun Nation!

I hope this message finds you well. I'm reaching out to the community to gather valuable insights into the airgun industry. My goal is to better understand what airgun enthusiasts like yourselves are looking for in terms of products and accessories, so I can help create items that truly meet your needs and fill gaps in the market.

I’ve put together a quick survey that focuses on product preferences, customization options, and content you’d like to see. Your input will directly influence the development of future airgun parts and accessories aimed at improving the overall experience for enthusiasts like you.

I’m fully aware of AirGun Nation’s rule against "clandestine advertising," and I want to emphasize that this is not a sales pitch or promotion. If this post goes against the forum's guidelines in any way, I completely understand and will remove it immediately. My sole intention is to hear directly from the community to make informed decisions about potential product development.

Your feedback is invaluable, and I greatly appreciate your time and thoughts. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reply to this post or send me a direct message.

Thank you for considering, and happy shooting!

Best regards,
Chance

Some people are too serious I just want it to be fun.

I would be interested in who you are, what your background in the airgun industry is, what products you have brought to production before, and tell us something about your company.

Otherwise you just appear to be some guy who joined the forum for their own benefit and you should have a manufacturer tag on your profile.

I wonder if this is 3D Arms out of West Virginia?

Thank you for your questions and feedback—I appreciate the opportunity to clarify and share more about myself and what I do.

I’ve been using airguns for about three years now, but I’ve been working with 3D printing and CAD design for over a decade. This combination of passions has allowed me to design and produce a variety of airgun-related products, including moderators, chassis systems for select airgun models, specialty sabot ammunition (such as .30 caliber sabots loaded with .223 bullets like FMJ and Soft Points), and universally loadable shot shells for various calibers. My focus has always been on creating innovative and practical solutions that enhance the airgun experience.

Recently, I decided to take my website down to reassess and refocus my product offerings after a busy holiday season. I’m conducting surveys and engaging with the community to gather feedback, ensuring that future products better align with what airgun enthusiasts truly want. While I initially started by creating items I thought were cool, my goal now is to provide a genuine service to the community by offering products with broader appeal and utility.

For me, this is a passion project I pursue in my free time. My aim has always been to offer fun and innovative items that improve the airgun experience. If you have specific questions about me, my work, or my products, please don’t hesitate to ask—I’m happy to provide more details or discuss my approach.

Thank you again for your interest and input. I value your perspective as part of this community.

First thing on that survey is you have to enter your email.... hard pass. I get enough spam already.

Also, Email is totally optional! Feel free to just press next and go on if that bothers you, I'm not even collecting any emails, the survey application I decided to go with just has that on the first page.

I wonder if this is 3D Arms out of West Virginia?
I am not that company. I am based out of southern Arizona at the moment!

Well be prepared for the feeding frenzy if you do end up making a quality product.

That's your worst enemy, supply for the demand. If you can't keep up, your name will be tarnished, which is hard to fix.
That is one of the reasons I shut the storefront down for the time being. I had a seemingly popular product in the Sabots I was making, and budget and equipment limitations led me to almost not being able to keep up. I figured it better to re-assess the way I was doing things (Creating the product to order instead of having a backstock) and let me get an inventory built up to where that wouldn't happen again.

True... I can name several over the years who produced a quality custom gun or stock... took a bunch of orders, got slammed after filling multiple orders and then skipped out (often with peoples money) Definitely something to consider if one ventures into the airgun biz

I looked up 3Darmsshop , and it was based put of West Virginia. I was wondering where in AZ I live in Tucson.?
There is a company in WV That uses the same name, however the business name wasn't registered in AZ so I went ahead with it down here! (To be honest I had the idea for the name before I knew other people were using it too, and when I realized it was free and clear in this state I just grabbed it!)

And we are located out of Sierra Vista, About 2 hours south of Tucson or so.

Ok. That's what I was wondering as in Tucson there is no airgun shop. Just sporting good stores that sell new airguns , and pawn shops that sell used ones with a classifieds called Guns Arizona Classifieds. Its mostly for powder burners , but there is a air gun section.
Yeah, we don't have a physical store at the moment, I do deal with some pawn shops down here and occasionally have stuff on consignment in them, and Guns Arizona is great stuff! love that site.

I wanted to say something that might help the Survey. If you want feedback let people know you are into 3D printing , and I'm sure that will help your business thrive as these people here will hit up directly to let you know what they would like to have made.
Sometimes it can be difficult for a new business to start up , and I understand this. But a person trying, and being overwhelmed with the supply , and demand thing in my opinion should not be put down. As it's hard enough to struggle with other business related problems. Use a few items that you can produce a quantity of then use that capital gain for more equipment , and possible more employee's. What did you think of my crazy survey notes. ?
