Sekhmet digital gauges

From my understanding the first Gen 25mm had serious issues. And customer support was slim to none. But I think they are ready to release a gen 2. But not avaliable yet. Their customer service has been improved as of recently, and they help you a lot better with questions and product issues..
Thanks Grass, thank you for your share of updated information. If your 25mm std also get the leak issue, pls do contact me by [email protected] or leave a message here. We'll do the replacement work asap !

Hi, I bought 2 pieces of your 25mm V1 gauge, and both leaked after 1 week. I throw both of them in the bin, cause i never received an answer to my mails. What do you suggest to do?

No offense to sekhmet but I have an m3 with two of them and a Maverick with a 40 dollar orcair digital gauge from Amazon. The orcair is cheaper and 100 % better. The sekhmet has the annoying constant screen time out. This is especially terrible on the bottle pressure gauge. I wouldn’t recommend putting one there as it times out while filling a lot and is annoying. If you don’t tap them just right to turn on they go to another screen (settings screen) instead of pressure. Then you have to double tap the side’s simultaneously to get back to the screen you want. When you attach the charger you have to get it positioned just right to get it going. All in all they work and do what they are supposed to. However, the cheaper digital gauge does too and is way more user friendly. Just my opinion.
Hi, thanks for sharing. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we truly appreciate the time you took to highlight your concerns.

It seems that you have identified the brief screen time as a significant challenge during the inflation process, leading to frequent screen blackouts. I'd like to clarify that the screen time is, in fact, adjustable according to personal preferences. By default, the screen time is set to 15 seconds at the factory to conserve energy. However, within the settings menu, users have the flexibility to increase the screen time incrementally, with the maximum duration being 90 seconds. Of course, you can also look at turning on the Fill WakeUP and Wake by Shot options to let the screen stay on for as long as you're using it.

I understand that other brands, such as Orcair have a default screen time of 60 seconds, which is non-adjustable and may result in increased power consumption. If your primary use of the gauge involves solely reading pressure values without the need for additional features like calculations, auxiliary shooting assistance, or insights into the impact of temperature on pressure, the 28mm Pro model might indeed be perceived as overly complex for your requirements. In such cases, you may consider opting for the 25mm std model (or other brand of course), which is designed to cater to simpler needs.

We highly respect every brand that promotes digital pressure gauges, and I'm here only to provide this clarification on our product features in the hopes of enhancing your overall user experience. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out. We are committed to ensuring that you have the best possible experience with our product.

Thank you once again for your feedback and for choosing our air pressure gauge.

Best regards,Nicole

Nicole,
I sent you an email with a video of the gauge I just received from Sekhmet on Friday. Maybe you didn’t see it but the gauge is defective and I need to return it.
Hi Michael, sorry for the inconvenience. I've forwarded your video to our technician and I'm sure I'll back to you next Monday.

I apologize…I deleted my post as I did t realize the time out feature. Did that change or get updated? I was going off a video that a very prominent reviewer had out that said 15 sec was max timeout? Again sorry. Your gauge does give tons more info than the simpler, cheaper ones. To be fair it depends on what the user is looking for. If it is only to know the exact pressure digitally then the 40 dollar will suffice. If you want a lot of data about your guns air usage for example, this is the way to go.

Thanks for your kind understanding! May I know which video is? I'd like to help our users to set their gauges correctly. Must say there's plenty of work to do, maybe our owner's manual is a bit too complicated to understand for someone who use the digital gauge for the first time, esp for the Pro model. We'll update that ASAP, thanks for sharing anyway, that's a really great reminder for us!

It was an AEAC video from Steve down in Florida. It’s a bit older but I cannot remember which gun review he did include your gauge in. Maybe the fx Maverick?? I didn’t even realize there was a pro edition. Playing with the gauges on my impact I’m pretty sure the fill gauge is a pro where the reg one isn’t. I don’t see quite as many features on the reg gauge. I see the pro mode in the menu of the one on the fill port but don’t see that in the reg gauge menu.

If you have any of the Pro Sekhmet gauges, it's pretty easy to find the different settings & features if you take a few minutes to play around with them. To complain that the time out duration was too short and was one of the primary flaws of the gauge is, as you now realize, a mistake on your part b/c that's one of the basic settings that you can adjust...along with having it turn on with each shot or during a fill as Nicole said.

There are plenty of ways to customize the setup of these gauges, which is why we're paying more for them then the Amazon gauges. The 28mm gauges only came in one flavor (aka the "Pro" model you're referring to) but you can set it in different modes that determine which settings/features show up on the gauge during normal use. If you set it in the simpler "Regulator" mode, it won't show all of the different features when you try to scroll through them. To have access to the full menu of settings, you have to take it out of Reg mode and put it into the more advanced "Pro" mode (see pics below).

Hope that helps...

Thanks for your prompt reply. I'm not quite sure which model you purchased. The Gen-1 28mm Pro gauge I guess? Both of the two gauges are the same, right? Those calculation works can only be done for the pressure in the bottle, while since the pressure should always stay the same or around the same, there won't be too much calculation work done for the reg one. While some champion shooter customers remind us they can use the reg gauge as a timer, good reminder to help them shoot more accurately by the exact pressure which is their sweet point.
